making a 2-stroke quiet ?

Does anyone have any tips on how to make a 2-stroke quieter. I've put an FMF Q on my KX100 but I was surprised that it didn't make it significantly quieter... to my ear at least. I would guess that it is probably quieter to bystanders though. I think most of the noise is comming from the expansion chamber and intake. I've been told that using a header wrap might work well but I don't know. How do they make KDX's so quiet. I want to be as stealthy as possilble......any suggestions?

KDX's are quiet because the factory exhaust and silencer are quite heavy guage steel. Especially the expansion chamber. I beleive it is twin walled. If FMF makes the gnarly for your kx100--it might help....it is supposedly mucher thicker guage steel as well. The only other choice you will have is header wrap. But, I have never seen it done on a 2st.
