TMV Flywheel weights?
Hello gang. Great resource of informative folks here at woodsracer.com. Glad to be part of it. I'm installing a TMV 9oz flywheel weight on my 04 yz 2t 250. I've never heard of these weights and I can't find anything about them on the internet. It looks like a good product just wondering why there is NO reviews or info on it. Interestingly, I'll have it put on here in a few hours and riding on it saturday and sunday along with a new gnarly pipe and fmf silencer. I'll do a review with pictures later just cause I find it fun to take pics and share.....but anyways.....I've got a Mac Tools 3/8" impact gun that ought to just zip the flywheel bolt right off eh? Any tips on using an impact gun on the flywheel bolt?
Pics soon to come in a few hours...Thanks gang. I'm gonna try to put up an informative post simply because I've learned soo much off this site.
The flywheel weight will not fit. Despite being designed for a 2003 to 09 yz250, it was not the correct flywheel. Will not bolt on in any way shape of form. WRONG flywheel. I can't wait to try and explain this to Iron Pony. My guess is there gonna want to see my exsisting flywheel before they believe me.
*edit* tmv sent me the correct flywheel, and wahlah...fit perfect! Nicely milled stainless steel flywheel went on in less than 15 minutes.

Here is a view from above. The new flywheel is suppose to bolt onto the exsisting one. It does not.
Pulling the flywheel. It came off really nicely. No problems here using a Mac Tools 3/8" impact.
I ended up reinstalling the oem flywheel (maybe its not oem) and maybe that's why the tmv doesn't fit....but if anyone sees anything they can explain to me that would be great. I find it hard to believe that this would require drilling out rivets to place the new weight on because it appears drilling out the rivets will slide slide more than just that top weight off.
Very interested to hear what the resolution is .
ps suspect wrong part # ,correct would be 0922-0090, 2006-08 is 0922-0093

Reason: new info
PROBLEM RESOLVED. I had a Kawasaki flywheel in a yamaha box. I talked to TMV directly and they were cool as can be. They had me the correct flywheel in 2 days!! They paid for shipping both ways, no questions asked. Awesome customer support friendly people. I just got it installed last night, and am currently having the rear shock rebuilt, so my first trip with it is going to be to Hatfield McCoy Matewan area trails weekend of the 7th Oct. Can't wait!
