I have been looking at purchasing a box truck.
Has anyone had any experience with the used trucks from ryder or U-hual? I have heard the service records aren`t always truthful.

I've had experiance with Ryder. A carrier that I worked for leased power units from them. I found them to be very professional.
Of course the rental truck business end my be something else all together. Still, I'd consider one and look the vehicle over the same way I would any other used truck.
Good luck!!

HEY TAYLOR I USED TO BE A RYDER DEALER AND PURCHASED 3 TRUCKS THRU RYDER,IT ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT SIZE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AS FAR AS WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND YOUR OWN MECH. ABILITIES
I BOUGHT A 14 FT GAS 1988 KNOWING I WAS GOING TO PUT A NEW ENGINE IN IT, I DID AND STILL HAVE THE TRUCK TODAY
WITH ONLY APPROX 2500 MILES ON IRT WITH THE NEW MOTOR
THEN I PURCHASED A 95 15 FT WITH AND OVER HEAD FORD POWERSTROKE DEISEL
WOW WHAT A TRUCK !!!!!IT WAS $11500.00 A BIT MORE THAN THE MOST BUT HOLY POOH WHAT A TRUCK
THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU MUST DO TO ALTER IT AFTER PURCHASE THOUGH
THE COPUTER IS PROGRAMED WITH A 68 MPH CODE OR GOVERNOR......300.00 FOR A NEW ONE
THEN THERES LOTS OF OF OTHER THINGS ETC BUT IF YOU WISH E ME OR CALL
I WOULD BE GLAD TO HELP
