View Full Version : V-Nose Trailer & Weight Distrubution Hitch
Ok I use a weight distribution hitch with the 7x16 trailer I tow. I have been thinking of buying a new v-nose trailer. How would I use a weight distribution hitch since the tounge is all covered?
thanks

Well the only answer I can give you is to contact the manufacturer and see what they tell you. I have a 6x13 V-Nose and it pulls fine. I would like to have some anti-sway bars for those windy days but havent really had much problem pulling it even with my S-10. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
I called a local trailer dealer here is what I was told. You must weld the hooks to your trailer tongue in the chain attached position since you can not lift the chain any more. Once you hitch the trailer use tongue jack to raise trailer front way up. Then attach chains to hooks and lower your trailer back down.
Seems like a lot of extra hassle.
