Van or enclosed trailer????

I can not decide between a large cargo or 15 pass used van or a enclosed trailer (6x12,7x12)to pull behind my F-150 w/5.4 V-8. I would like to haul 3-4 bikes and also sleep in it at trail rides & enduros. Please give any pros & cons. Thanks!!

I had the same dilemma just recently and decided to go with the van. I actually bought a conversion van, ripped the seats out and made it into a bike hauler. I really like it, but was still wondering if I made the right decision. Until Saturday on the way to an Enduro. I saw a truck on the side of the highway with bikes on a trailer with what looked like a broken axle. I just sort of smiled to myself and drove on. Not saying that this happens everyday, and the van could crap out too, but it is just one more variable to deal with. I like simplicity. 3-4 bikes would be tough without a trailer, but I guess you need to set your priorities on what you need to do.
