I just bought the wife a new Grand Caravan EX today and I'm looking at it as a possible "toy hauler" with the addition of a nice enclosed trailer behind it in a few years. ( The big Dodge ain't going to last forever you know ) Maybe a 6X10 or something.

Anybody running a set up like this?

I saw a set-up at Loretta Lynn`s a couple years ago that used a dodge van and a tandem axle trailor 12 or maybe 14' in length.

This guy had cut his van right behind the drivers seat and some how attached it to his enclosed trailer. The van was front wheel drive so he had a tandem axle front wheel drive box truck.

I doubt the thing had enough motor to haul much. I just remeber it because it was different.

Do you think your wife would let you cut on her new Caravan?

I use a GMC Safari van to pull a 5X8 enclosed trailer , it pulls it fine. It has the 4.3 V6 and does OK , but I will go full size next time.

Yeah, I remember seeing that rig in one of the magz. I thought it was a neat idea, but I think I'll just stick with pulling the trailer instead of making it part of the van.
